Resurgent India is a youth-focussed NGO that aims at unleashing the potential of India’s youth. Its work has been primarily concerned with career guidance events, leadership workshops and specific initiatives targeted at liberating youth from stereotypes that lead them to engineering and medicine but limit them from exploring other career and professional options.Our initiatives have helped transform the lives of many youngsters. Those who have lent time and effort to our events include Prasad Bidapa, Shukla Bose (Parikrama), RJ Darius Sunawala and NDTV correspondent Vasanthi Srinivasan, amongst other highly-qualified and experienced individuals from various fields.

Following the brazen attacks on women at a pub in Mangalore, many Bangaloreans expressed anger and outrage at the lack of punishment meted out to the attackers. Bengaluru Unites was formed as a peaceful Gandhian way to protest the violence against women and called for citizens to come out on to the streets between 1:15 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. on a designated day. Protests were co-ordinated through technology that informed protesters where the nearest protest spot was and through the main active blog site.
