The future of our country lies with today’s youth who comprise about 50% of our population. It’s with this generation that we hope to lay the kind of strong foundation upon which we can build the transformation to a vibrant and positive new society. India's youth have not always been taken seriously by the political class. The youth have been dismissed as 'apathetic', 'apolitical' and 'disengaged'. But things are changing and we see the signs of youth activism, this combined with candidates that we can vote for; candidates that reflect our dreams and aspirations is what will make the difference. Many of India's youth hold views and positions that have never been heard. How do we make this happen? How do we STAND UP, STEP UP, MAKE A DIFFERENCE? The key element that can bring about a change in our country’s political scenario is the youth voice. If we stand up, voice our opinions, share our thoughts and not step back till what we believe in has come about, there will be a change for the better.
